Hello and welcome!

I founded The People Place to make HR thinking & people-focused ideas accessible to smaller companies and start ups.

MY BACKGROUND

​

I have worked in people functions throughout my career providing in-house support on all things HR and have a particular passion for leadership training and coaching having gained practitioner licenses in both Situational Leadership and Insights Discovery models. Although I have operated as a generalist my experience is massively focused on recruitment and training, creating or re-defining what these look like for each business I have had the pleasure of working for.

I have worked in different sectors, from charity fundraising organisations, to retail and hospitality and whilst the product may differ, the people-related thinking offered to those throughout each company always starts in the same place.

I am on a mission to spread the HR thinking I have gathered over the years to smaller businesses and start ups who may have no to limited access to people-related support. The ideas shared will inevitably develop their teams in ways that will benefit the individual and impact the success of their business.
